This archival print is taken from an original watercolour painted from specimens given to me by the garlic growers in Jebel Akhdar Oman. The beautiful purple heritage garlic had been grown in the same area for generations. The painting was completed for the book “Plants of the Qur’ān, History and Culture”, published by The Royal Botanic Gardens Kew, London.
A non-fade 12 colour pigment ink printing process is crafted onto archival museum quality 100% cotton rag 270 gsm acid and lignin free art paper or art quality cotton blend canvas. This print will last for many years, but avoid direct exposure to sunlight.
Limited Edition prints are accompanied by the certificate of Authenticity, signed by the artist.
